Contribution to the preparation and physico-chemical characterization of lead-based perovskite Pb (Fe1/2Nb1/2) O3

     Preparation of the pure phase PFN by the classical solid state reaction, shows a good homogenization of the starting products. The powder was heat treated at 300°C and then calcined at different temperatures. The pure perovskite phase was obtained at 850°C; the latter is relatively low compared to other temperatures of calcinations of samples synthesized using other chemical processes. Dielectric investigations revealed a non relaxing behavior with a diffuse character. The value of the temperature of the maximum of the permittivity is close to those reported in the literature.
