Abstract

     In the present study a series of 9-aminoacridine were synthesized and characterized by FTIR, and NMR analyses. The newly synthesized compounds were screened for their antibacterial activities against Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumonia, and Streptococcus faecalis. Results revealed that all the synthesized compounds have a significant biological activity against the tested strains
