EFFECT OF CONCENTRATION INCREASING OF Cd, Cr, Cu, Pb AND Zn

IN SOILS IRRIGATED BY WASTE WATERS OF HASSAR RIVER

Abstract

Irrigation effect on agricultural land irrigated by Hassar river, wish receiving substantial amounts of domestic and industrial wastewater from the province of Médiouna, was studied. Four stations were selected for twenty five sampling.

Agronomic parameters of studied soil shows organic matter content greater than 2%, with an average salinity of 3.33%. From an environmental perspective, the concentrations of trace metals (TME) (Cd (Cadmium), Cr (Chrome), Co (Copper), Pb (Lead) and Zn (Zinc)) show high values ??of Cd and Pb. In comparison with the other elements, Cd presents values ??that increase from upstream to downstream.
