Abstract

    In this paper we have prepared Pb1-xLaxTi1-x/4O3 (PLTx) ceramics by the hydrothermal process at relatively low temperature. KOH favors the solubility of the precursors in this solid form. Pressure, temperature and percentage of lanthanum are critical factors for the formation of the pure PLT phase. The product was put into an autoclave and heat treated at 180° for 24H, and the powder obtained heat treated at 400°C for 4h.

     Raman measurements were performed using a Raman spectrometer TF FRA 106/S (displacement wave number = 36-3600 cm-1), equipped with an Nd-Yag laser source with the wavelength ? = 1064 nm and 4cm-1 as resolution.
