Study of electrical conductivity

of lithiated nickel–cobalt oxide materials

Abstract

     The material LiNi1-yCoyO2 (0.2<y<0.8) studied in this work has been prepared at ambient temperature by the sol-gel method from the citrate precursors. The electrical properties of this compound have been studied in the temperature range 170 K and 330 K and the activation energy, Ea, was estimated assuming the Arrhenius law.
