Abstract

Enthalpies of formation as measured for orthophosphates, pyrophosphates and metaphosphates are compiled and compared to estimates using Le Van's method. The original experimental set is used to check Le Van's method with new basic data for the anionic constant of this model for PO43- and P2O74- to evaluate the anionic constant for PO3- in order to propose new estimation for transition metals, rare earth metals, and "p" metals phosphates enthalpies of formation.
