Determination of the transition probabilities

of Xe II lines (6d ® 6p) and (6p ® 5d+6s) with correction

of the self-absorption

The ratios of transition probabilities and of optical thicknesses (6d ® 6p) and (6p ® 5d+6s) of Xe II lines were experimentally determined by a method established in a previous paper [1]. These lines obtained from a Laser Produced Plasma (LPP) as the spectroscopic source, were corrected from self-absorption. The line parameters obtained for some lines were compared to the results of several authors. The values of the transition probabilities of other lines were determined for the first time.
