A versatile platform for AD-HOC wireless sensor network node in FPGA

In this paper, we introduce the architecture of a versatile platform for ad-hoc wireless sensor networks node in FPGA. This platform acquires environmental data and detects important variations in order to trigger some alarm. Finally, when some alarm is triggered, data of the environment are sent by routing on a wireless network. The beacon is implemented on a platform including a microprocessor core and several dedicated IP (Intellectual Property).
