Abstract

The heat transfer such as any real energy exchange between physical systems is accompanied by some internal energy degradation which induces undesirable losses caused by the irreversibility of elementary processes of the transfer. The analysis of such losses in a thermal evolution system which is the principal objective of this paper is treated here by an approach adapting the numerical solution of the heat equation to the balances of energy and entropy. Practical conclusions can be obtained from such analysis related to the problem of system thermal insulation composed of layers of different thermal behaviors.
