THEORETICAL DETERMINATION OF THE MAGNETIC SUSCEPTIBILITY, MAGNETIZATION, SPECIFIC HEAT AND ENTROPY OF MnFePO5

The magnetic susceptibility, magnetization, specific heat and entropy at low temperature of MnFePO5 were calculated theoretically using the Heisenberg-Dirac-Van Vleck (HDVV) model. The Mn2+-Fe3+ spin-spin interaction within this compound was shown to be antiferromagnetic.
