Abstract

Structural and magnetic properties of lacunar perovskite manganite oxides Pr0.5Sr0.5-x? xMnO3 were investigated. Powder samples have been elaborated by the conventional solid state reaction. X-ray diffraction analysis showed that all our synthesized samples crystallize in the orthorhombic symmetry. Magnetic measurements show that all samples exhibit a ferromagnetic-paramagnetic transition with decreasing temperature. Curie temperature TC is found to increase with increasing strontium deficiency content from 277 K (x = 0.00) to 326 K (x = 0.15).
