Abstract 

We report the synthesis and electropolymerization of 3-(3’-thienyl-5’-phenylverdazyl)thiophene with hexafluorophosphate as the counter anion, that gives solid materials with a high concentration of radical spins. A portion of the magnetic moments show magnetic order with spontaneous magnetization at temperatures of 10 K and below. The samples are characterized by measurement of field- and temperature-dependent static magnetic susceptibility, electron spin resonance and low-temperature magnetization curves.
