n- and p- doped poly(3-(m,p-fluorophenyl)thiophene): Synthesis and electrochemical characterization

3-(p-fluorophenyl), 3-(m-fluorophenyl) and 3-(m, p-difluorophenyl) thiophene were synthesized. The corresponding polymers were made by electropolymerization and characterized using cyclic voltammetry. The polymers exhibit reversible and stable p- and n- doping states and distinct color changes upon doping.
