Instructions to authors
Aims and Scope: Physical and Chemical News (PCN) is an International Journal in Physics and Chemistry. PCN considers only original papers containing new results. The purpose of PCN is to bridge a gap between Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The journal stimulates the interaction between Physics and Chemistry and also between these fields and Mathematics. PCN publishes original theoretical and experimental papers on all aspects of physics and chemistry, proceeding of topical conferences in these fields, thematic issues, and comments on previous publications in the journal. All contributions are handled by an international board experts covering all subfields of Physics, Chemistry and related mathematical applications. Submission to PCN is a representation that the manuscript has not been published and is not currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. Authors are invited to include in their submission letters a list of individuals who may be appropriate reviewers for their manuscripts. The editor welcome these suggestions and try to use them when feasible. Work previously published as a rapid communication, or in a conference proceedings can be the basis of a regular article in PCN, provided the article, presents considerably more detail. Authors are not responsible for references to publications which had not yet appeared when their paper was submitted. If revision of a manuscript takes a substantial time, the references should be updated to include recently published relevant work. It is the responsibility of the person submitting the paper (the corresponding author who is the only responsible for the content of the paper) to ensure that all persons listed as authors approve of the inclusion of their names.
Benefits to Authors: When you submit your paper to PCN, you will receive these author’s benefits:
. Five reprints of each paper supplied free of charge to author(s).
. International distribution.
Manuscript preparation: The manuscript should be written in good scientific English and should be prepared with simple line spacing and with the following order of presentation: Article title, Author(s), Affiliations, Abstracts, keywords, Main text, Acknowledgements, Appendices and References. Figures and Tables must be inserted with their legends near their citations (without color).. The text editor is the Winword typing in Times New Roman (see Table).
Page setting : Size : 190 mm x 272 mm. Margin : 2 cm at all four sides. Tabulation : 0,4 cm. Columns: Title, authors, address, abstract, keywords, figures : 1 column 15 cm. Body Text : 2 columns, size of each column : 7,2 cm.
Abstract should not be no longer than approximately 200 words and should be a concise summary of the significant items of the article, including the results and conclusions. Do not make reference citations in it.
Keywords should be listed after the abstract and give a concise indication of the subject matter of the paper.Introduction of the manuscript should make clear the significance of the work and its relationship to the work of others. The introduction outlines the reasons for and the objectives of the paper, explaining how it is an advance on previous works. In the end of the introduction, the structure of the paper must be cited.
Equations should be punctuated and aligned to bring out structure and numbered at the right. Mathematical operation signs indicating continuity of expression should be placed at the left of the second and succeeding lines.
References should be numbered in square brackets in order of citation in the text, and should be listed individually at the end of the manuscript. Examples of citations are provided below (journals and books ):
 M. Karimi, L. Fahdi, R. Dals, Optics. Comm., 175 (2000) 51-57.
 H. C. van de Hulst, "Light scattering by small particles", New York (1957).
Tables numbered (with Arabic numbers) in order of appearance, should be appended on separate pages and identified with appropriate titles.
Figures should be suitable for immediate reproduction (numbered with Arabic numbers). Figures with multiple panels should be labeled individually, with (a), (b), … and a single caption should describe the entire set. Data points, legends and labeling of axes should be large enough to be readable even after a possible size reduction.
Acknowledgements must be included under a separate heading and are generally reserved for the mention of financial support and of substantial collaborative efforts with colleagues.
Appendices should be labeled sequentially, as A, B, …. The equations should be numbered separately from those in the main text of the paper (e.g. (A1), (A2), …).
Submission of papers: Manuscripts (containing the file encoded in PC WinWord) should be addressed to the Editor electronically.
After acceptance: We welcome the receipt of an electronic version of your accepted manuscript. You are requested herewith to send a file with the text of the accepted manuscript by e-mail to the Editor’s address. No deviations from the version accepted by the Editor of the journal are permissible without the prior and explicit approval by the Editor. Such changes should be clearly indicated on an accompanying printout of the file. A copyright transfer must be signed and send to the Editor by conventional mail.
PCN is published by Best Edition. The Editor of PCN is responsible for the scientific content of the Journal. In order to reproduce figures from another journal, authors must provide written agreement from both the publisher and the authors of the originally published work.

It is the author’s responsibility to obtain permission to reprint a previously published extract of a section of a paper, a figure, or a table of this journal. Permission from the copyright holder/publisher and original author(s), should be obtained in writing (before submission of the manuscript) and submitted with the manuscript. Acknowledgment alone is not sufficient.
